WhatsCost is a free calculator that estimates the cost of sending messages through the official WhatsApp API (Meta) and through Manychat, by country and message category, and simulates return on investment. The tool is maintained by Rosa Opaco, under the responsibility of Carl Theodor Dreyer.

By using the calculator, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool.

All results are informational simulations. They are not a quote, a commercial offer, or financial, accounting or tax advice. The amount you are actually charged may differ, among other reasons because:

• rates are based on Meta and Manychat public rate cards effective October 1, 2026, which they may change at any time;
• conversion to Brazilian reais uses a reference exchange rate (frankfurter.dev), which may differ from your bank's rate, spread and fees or from Meta's BRL rate card;
• countries without their own rate are priced at the corresponding regional rate;
• Meta volume discounts are not applied;
• the free service message allowance (1,000 per number per month) and free conversations started from ads are not deducted;
• tax rates are entered by you and may not reflect your tax situation.

Always confirm official prices directly with Meta, Manychat or your provider before making decisions.

You may use the calculator freely, for personal or business purposes. You may not:

• attempt to disrupt, overload or compromise the operation or security of the tool;
• send automated requests in excessive volume;
• use the tool for any unlawful purpose.

The CSV file you load is read only in your browser and is never sent to our servers. You remain responsible for having a legal basis to process the data in your list under the data protection laws that apply to you, such as Brazil's LGPD (Law 13,709/2018) or the GDPR.

Only the country_code column is needed for the simulation. We recommend not including personal data that is not strictly necessary.

WhatsApp and Meta are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Manychat is a trademark of Manychat, Inc. WhatsCost is an independent tool with no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement from these companies. Their names are used only to identify the services being compared.

The code, design and content of the tool belong to Rosa Opaco. The results you generate (simulations and reports) are yours to use freely.

The tool is provided free of charge and "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rosa Opaco is not liable for any loss, damage or decision based on the estimates, nor for differences between simulated amounts and amounts actually charged by third parties.

The calculator may become unavailable, be modified or be discontinued at any time without notice. These Terms may also be updated; the date at the top of this page shows the current version.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of the user's place of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country.
